Minnesota Historical Society

There was a house, built in 1887, that had more stories than its generations of residents. The Minnesota Historical Society turned that home into an interactive, educational exhibit. The exhibit needed backlighting for photographs and false windows, but because of the dimensions of the walls, flat panel lighting was the only feasible option for this project. CeeLite’s LEC (Light Emitting Capacitor) technology made it possible to create and apply lighting to the graphics while maintaining the integrity of the photos’ colors. The six, 24" x 36" illuminated panels were so thin that the exhibit did not require any modifications.
